Listings can't be bought
Basic listings are free. We choose what goes in guides based on the question the guide answers. Paid tiers add labeled visibility; they never change a ranking, a description or a review.
How we verify
Every place and event is checked against its own website or an official source (city, county, organizer). Each page shows the date it was last checked and links its sources. When our editors have visited in person, we say so; until then, we say that too.
Health claims
Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. We cite primary research and public-health sources, say when evidence is preliminary, and don't repeat a business's health claims as our own. Talk to a clinician before starting anything that affects a medical condition, pregnancy or medication.
Sustainability claims
Tags like Texas-made, organic, plastic-free or regenerative only appear when we can support them with evidence. We don't copy them from marketing copy.
Sponsorship and affiliate links
Sponsored content, featured placements and sponsored newsletter sections are always labeled. There are currently no affiliate links on this site; if we add them, they'll be disclosed on the page where they appear.
Client relationships
Wellness Media TX is published by Pantheon Media, an Austin production company, whose Wellness Media Studios arm makes films for wellness businesses. When a business we list has been a Pantheon client, the listing says so. Current disclosures: Casa de Luz.
AI use
We use AI tools to help research, organize data and draft. People check every fact, price, hour and quote against the source before it's published.
